Apple may be getting ready to introduce a subscription iTunes service in September.. Macrumors has posted an anonymous tip claiming that “iTunes Unlimited” may be launching in the fall. According to the LA Times, Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor is in talks to bring his politically charged “Year Zero” to HBO as a 2-season series. The story of Year Zero has so far been released in 2 formats; first, as the 2007 Nine Inch Nails album of the same name, and second, as an Alternate Reality Game consisting of a variety of media and forms of communication that expanded upon the album’s storyline.

“TROPIC THUNDER” just plain stupid fun, but doesn’t live up to the hype.

Along with the launch of Bell’s new advertising campaign, which seems like a mash up of Telus ads and a Daft Punk song, was the launch of their Apple iphone competitor, the Samsung Instinct. Our friends over at SuperHeroHype have posted the high-rez images of the Watchmen posters that were unveiled at ComicCon San Diego last week. Bell To Charge Wholesalers Per Usage

Bell has recently announced that it plans to start charging its wholesale customers usage-based-billing (UBB). These wholesalers include popular 3rd party ISP provider TekSavvy, amongst others. This throws a new wrinkle in the relationship between the telco giant and the wholesalers, who are still waiting to for a decision from the CRTC regarding packet shaping.
