Rogers to Customers: “Hey, at least it ain’t France.”

Rogers has quickly responded to the overwhelming ire from would-be happy Canadian iPhone owners with an interview in which they justify their data plans and costs as being more than accommodating to the “vast majority of consumers.” “Unlimited plans could end up costing customers more for what they don’t use,” the spokeswoman argues. “Our iPhone plans more than accommodate the vast majority of customers.” In the article, the Rogers representative argues that because plans in Europe, including France’s carrier Orange, are arguably more expensive and offer less than Rogers’ plan…

AMD ‘Officially’ Launches Radeon 4870, declares cinema dead.

In a previous post Doug mentioned the spiffy ‘real-time rendered’ animation AMD (ATI) showed at a press event, declaring it the birth of ‘Cinema 2.0’. AMD is planning on introducing the RV770 ‘this summer’, along with a more detailed demo of it’s capabilities.
