Return of the SwagBag Giveaway – UPDATED
Reviews are in and interviews have been posted, which means our Fan Expo 2010 coverage has wrapped. If you didn’t get a chance to go this year, see our full Fan Expo 2010 coverage for interviews, reviews and more. It’s like going to the convention without a four hour lineup and the fire marshal locking you out! Best of all, do it from home in your underwear. The one thing you DON’T get out of virtual conventions is swag. Lots of wonderful swag. We can fix that too!
As we have done in the past after coverage wraps up, we’re doing a Swag Bag Giveway for 2010. Many of the writers and artists we’ve interviewed at Fan Expo have generously donated copies of their comics, so that we can pass them on to you.
This time around, the Giveaway features:
- The Waking Dead: Days Gone Bye trade paperback, to get prepped for the launch of the AMC series, and just one of the best ongoing comic series in recent memory.
- Snakor’s Pizza #1
- 2 signed books from Uyugomiak: The Chubby Bounty Hunter #1 and Uyugomiak Miniatures #4
- Max Overacts #1 signed by Caanan Grall
- Tanpopo #1 signed by Camilla d’Errico
- The Anthology Project hardcover book, which is an amazing piece of work, signed by editor Nick Thornborrow, Darren Rawlings and Sam Bradley.
- and more… seriously, a few extra bonus items
Peter Brunton had a lot of good things to say about the titles he’s reviewed, which you can read in his Review Round-Up.
We have a winner! Congratulations Matthew Goddard!
So, how do you get in on the Giveaway action?
You don’t. It’s over.
Simply post a comment below, whatever comment you want, and include the word ‘swagbag’ somewhere in there. Our new Disqus powered commenting system allows you to log in using your existing Twitter, Facebook, Yahoo or Open ID account. If you have a Disqus account, even better!
Optionally, if you don’t want to do the Disqus thing on our site, don’t worry about it. You can post a comment on our Facebook page with the word ‘swagbag’, or you can also follow us on Twitter and send us an @rgbfilter reply with the word ‘swagbag’ if that’s more your style.
You’ll have until Monday October 18th 2010 at 11:59pm, and one person will be randomly selected. We’ll announce the lucky individual the next day. Note you’ll need a US or Canadian mailing address to receive the SwagBag. Not open to contributors of RGB Filter.
Good luck!
Well if Dan can win game, I can certainly write “Swagbag” on a comment post 😛
