Rogers Samsung Focus: Hands On Video

When Windows Phone 7 launches in North America in early November, Rogers will be carrying the Samsung Focus, which is the thinnest of the launch devices.  The Focus is very much in the styling of Samsung’s Galaxy S Android phones, including the absolutely stunning 4 inch Super AMOLED screen.  One of the other traits the Focus carries over from the Galaxy S line is the light, plastic body.  Although a well specced and built phone there will be those who will consider the lack of heft as indicative of cheapness.  Personally, I like my phones with a bit more heft, but didn’t find this to be too out of range.

We take a brief look as some of the Samsung exclusive applications as well, which includes the Now hub, aggregating news from Reuters, weather and stock, and noticed that the Focus also has it’s own entry in the Marketplace, which also sported an app made for international carrier H3G.
