2 million Dead Rising and counting
No, the zombie apocalypse isn’t on us yet. Dead Rising 2, developed by Blue Castle Games for Capcom, has sold over 2 million copies since its release last month, which puts it on track to outsell its predecessor by a fair margin. During the Tokyo Game Show in September, Capcom announced plans to acquire Blue Castle, giving the company a stronger North American presence. They’ve now confirmed that the acquisition has been ratified by Canadian regulatory authorities and Blue Castle is now a wholly owned subsidiary named Capcom Games Vancouver.
