Chinese iPad-like Tablet Netbook – Out for Months
Okay, just found out about this. Apparently the Chinese company “Great Loong Brother” has been selling a tablet netbook since August that looks a lot like a big iPhone.
Although it is thicker, and the LCD screen is a lower resolution (1024 x 600), it is a 10.2-inch tablet COMPUTER; although it is a netbook with an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 processor. Sporting a touchscreen, all the ports you want, an open casing that allows you to swap the hard drive and memory, and Windows 7/Vista/XP/Linux support, this is the tablet that’s going to tempt many. Curiously, the price is currently unavailable. The only downside is the 1.5 hour battery life. Oh well, you can’t have everything. Here are the specs:
