Fable III Production Diary 2
As Fable fans await the third installment, Lionhead Studios has started putting out production diaries in video format to give gamers an idea of the changes in store for the franchise. This time out we get a sneak peak at the newly streamlined interface, as lead designer Peter Molyneux has said that one of the goals of Fable III is to bring it more into the action-adventure realm, without totally discarding the RPG interface.
One thing that certainly appears to be improved is the world map, which is now a 3D representation which the user can move a magnifying glass over. If there’s one thing I didn’t like in Fable II, it was the world map. This is a welcome change.
As an added bonus, John Cleese will be playing the role of the player’s faithful butler Jasper, and also appears in the production diary.
