Newtek’s SpeedEDIT 1.2
For those who don’t know, Newtek ushered in the video desktop era with the Amiga based Toaster, and later the Toaster Flyer, which added NLE capabilities to their already brilliant “studio in a desktop” concept. They continued after the demise of the Amiga by working on the Video Toaster for Windows, which was later shortened to the VT, which offers a suite of software, combined with an uncompressed video I/O card and switcher. They recently separated the editing software TEd away from the VT hardware, and given the user a software based NLE that is resolution independent and makes creative editing go smooth as butter compared to just about every other editors out there.
