Scott Pilgrim Volume 6 Launch Party July 19th, pre-order you copy at the Beguiling

To celebrate the long awaited launch of the final volume in the Epic Scott Pilgrim comic book series (soon to be a major motion picture, and video game by Ubisoft), the Beguiling comic store in Toronto is taking over Markham Street, all night long, to hold an amazing launch party. Along with an appearance by author Bryan Lee O’Malley, who will be on-hand to sign copies of the book at midnight, there will be other amazing events, such as live music, and an indie gaming arcade presented by, the Hand Eye Society.

The Beguiling is also now taking pre-orders for Scott Pilgrim Volume 6, where if you pre-pay the $15 for the book, you will also get a limited edition print, featuring original art by Bryan Lee O’Malley! To celebrate the release of this phenomenal graphic novel, they’re going to be throwing A GREAT BIG PARTY ON MONDAY JULY 19TH STARTING AT 9PM, which will culminate in the official release of SCOTT PILGRIM VOLUME 6: SCOTT PILGRIM’S FINEST HOUR at 12:01am–midnight!

Best of all, hometown-boy author Bryan Lee O’Malley will be on-hand to sign copies of the book, meet fans, and kick off the whole celebration! And we’re thrilled to announce that many of The Beguiling’s great neighbours on Markham St. are getting in on the act and there’ll be tons of amazing events going on all evening, starting at 9pm! Author Bryan Lee O’Malley will be signing for fans throughout the evening, and The Beguiling will be selling copies of Scott Pilgrim Volume 1-5, and assorted (and rare!) Scott Pilgrim merchandise — open until 1am!

To enter, simply register at The Beguiling (601 Markham St) between 6pm and 10pm on the day of the event July 19th. The contest will occur at 10:30pm in front of 596 Markham St.
