Irrational Games reveal their latest game – Bioshock Infinite
I loved System Shock 2. Created by Irrational Games, it was one of the scariest and most immersive games ever made. It is also one of my all-time favourites, and boy did its ‘spiritual successor’, System Shock Lite…Oh sorry, Bioshock, disappoint.
Today, Irrational Games announced their latest game, Bioshock Infinite. After my hopes were dashed that Ken Levine, the mind behind Irrational, wasn’t going to be working on the X-Com reboot (another of my top 10 games of all time), I was hoping that ‘Project Icarus’ was going to be something even cooler – either a totally new IP, or an amazing reboot of another all-time great.
My thoughts on today’s announcement can be pretty much summed up in the picture above. Sorry, Irrational — no sale. Hot-air balloons holding buildings up in the sky?!?
More info about Bioshock Infinite can be found here. Check out the trailer after the jump.
